Hello to all our new and loyal subscribers, we very much appreciate your interest in the Tontachi project! We can’t thank you enough for tuning in because making games isn’t easy, especially when combining emerging technologies into a commercial app.
Our update comes at an interesting time in the respective industries of Augmented Reality & Blockchain..
State of the Industry
While the prospects and market sentiments of XR are on the rise
i.e. Apple Vision Pro, AR (Gaming) specifically has yet to reach widespread consumer-level adoption outside of Brand-Marketing use cases.
In the “Web3“ space, Blockchain is having a perceived downtrend of its own (i.e. ‘crypto winter‘) after too much fluff and hype, though we at Urban Electronics believe the technology offers a new form of authentic engagement + monetization
—especially for indie games.
Ultimately Market correction/realization in both industries is a good thing for the future as we ride the wave of technological adoption, towards what’s known as the “slope of enlightenment“ 🌊🏄

Note to Android users: We got you. The game will work on your devices. We just can’t quite guarantee top-notch performance.
